Day 1 - Mt: New York/Niagara Falls. This morning we drive north to Niagara Falls traveling through Corning where we stop for lunch and have the opportunity to visit the Glass Museum. Late afternoon arrival in Niagara Falls, NY and overnight. Day 2 - Mt: Niagara Falls/Toronto/Niagara Falls This morning we visit Niagara Falls that includes Maid of the Mist and visit or view the Horseshoe Falls, American Falls, Bridal Veils Falls, Table Rock, Niagara Park Greenhouse, Dufferin Islands, Toronto Power House, Raging Rapids, Old Scow, International Water Control Gates, Niagara Gorge, Queen Victoria Park, Sir Harry Oaks Garden Theatre, Giant Whirlpool, Spanish Aero Car, Whirlpool Golf Course, Niagara Glen, Hydro-Electric Power Plants, Botanical Gardens and the Floral Clock. In the afternoon we continue to Toronto for a visit and return to Niagara Falls, NY. Overnight.
Day 3 - Mt: Niagara Falls/Washington Early departure to Washington DC. Enroute we will cross though the states of New York, Pennsylvania and Maryland; arriving in Washington late afternoon. Overnight
Day 4 - Mt: Washington Sightseeing This morning a guided sightseeing tour includes a visit to the Lincoln Memorial and photo stops at Capitol Hill and the White House. We cross the Potomac River to visit the Arlington National Cemetery and see the graves of American heroes, including those of John F. Kennedy and his brother Robert. Afternoon and evening are at leisure. Perhaps visit historic Union Station for a great international lunch followed by fascinating exhibits in the Smithsonian Museum along the National Mall.
Day 5 - Mt: Washington/New York We depart early AM to New York stopping in Philadelphia for a brief tour of the historical center and lunch arriving in New York midafternoon. Passengers will be dropped off at Newark Airport or the hotel in New York for those extending their stay. End of our tour. |
